Apple Bloom trotted along with dirt path leading from Sweet Apple Acres into town. After a long rainy weekend, she was more than ready to get away from her annoying siblings and their stupid offspring. She had had to endure and entire weekend of Del throwing temper tantrums, June complaining about her lack of a cutie mark while Big Mac and Mrs. Cheerilee shot Apple Bloom weird looks, Applejack being a bitch, and Big Macintosh saying Eeeyup every five minutes….Including at night. Whatever Apple Bloom had done in some previous life to deserve having such an annoying family she couldn’t even begin to fathom.
Sadly her friends Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo were both away for the week in the Crystal Empire. Sweetie Belle was attending a singing competition, and Scootaloo had gone with her for moral support….And Apple Bloom suspected for the many opportunities to make out with Sweetie Belle during her breaks undisturbed by Rarity. “Dear Mom and Dad,
How are you? I myself am doing fine. In fact I just recently FINALLY got my Cutie Mark. It’s a multicolored shield with an Apple in the middle. My two best friends also got similar shield cutie marks, although Sweetie Belle’s has a musical note in the middle, and Scootaloo’s has a lightning bolt. Apparently are super special talent is helping other ponies find THEIR super special talent….Although it kind of makes me wonder why we were so bad at finding our own for years. We also apparently have our own unique talents, so I guess Miss Cheerilee was not too far off a few years ago when she said it was possible for a pony to have two special talents.
Applejack’s been really busy lately helping Twilight out with some weird map thing. Apparently it’s magically connected to the cutie marks of Applejack and her friends, and can summon them via their cutie marks if trouble arises that two or more of them need to go fix. Seems
